WHAT DOES IMMERSIVE MEAN?
Immersive means not only sense of sight but sound + smell ? + bodily - balance maybe .. > look up smell gadgets for VR
Photocollage inside Unity? Might it be possible to collage together settings and scenes from found footage into a distorted space or e.g. stress an image over a digital mould and maybe even animate it to become something new?
Use of a rendered shape as a screening surface
Similar to Frederik Heyman's photogrammetry sculptures the use of industrial - construction elements eludes to the fact that the images are constructed.
What makes Teletubbies Landscape so immersive, what effect does it have on the viewer - why does it leave such a lasting impression?

> sparks idea of creating a concept linked to memory - childhood
Using screen surfaces inside an immersive environment - almost like a virtual gallery.

Showing a real life performance inside a virtual setting.

I definitely want to mix in real-life found footage into a digital/VR space.
360° Videos are also an approach to creating an immersive space to be viewed an explored through VR glasses
DESIGN INSPIRATION:
Letting action be split between separate screens!
This video grabbed my attention as inspirational for digital 3D space because it's already very unusual as a music video format to show different scenes in the same space and move the viewer inside of it.

Similar to Frederik Heyman's work it's creating theatrical scenes (here in motion)
inside a non discript place (here a pink studio backdrop) for viewers to look at.
Could a viewer today be taken back to a intimate past (historic) event through putting on glasses and entering an immersive space?
What strikes me as particularly interesting in this video as a design element is the type of narration through a character. Around 1:17 min + Also 7:56, when he's turning in a circle and dancing (this style of narration also remind me of Seebühne Fusion track with narration of 'Bad little kiddies in club bad', which linked in my mind immediately to the club kids.

In the disorientation of the VR space it's nice to have someone to turn to and with this intimate documentation specifically of this kind of group outing/field trip it's easy to feel yourself being taken along for the ride.
The fish-eye lense also gives the whole scene an already more 360°video feeling than a flat screen would
A way to integrate found video into a virtual scene:
Analysis: Probably all the elements of the scenery where not personally modelled but assets placed together in a unique scene - the videos that are then presented in the scene are the actual original works and together they create a 'gesamtkunstwerk'.
Guidance/ Instruction /Voice narration as a pivotal element in VR
The collage style could be very interesting to translate to an immersive space.

It might be interesting to work with found footage and play with floating text over it - making the narration very specific and playful for VR.
An immersive space - in which the character is moved in one or the other direction which leads to different outcomes:
Tutorial: How to play videos in Unity
Teletubbie Land
Analysis:
It will be necessary to think about triggers that guide the user and give an indication for what to do - or maybe otherwise a timer that sets a limit for a specific scene.

Also think about how you want the user to move!
You could make them sit e.g. by placing a scene trigger in a lower field of vision.
